Okay, I KNOW I’m going to get bashed for this. I might even receive hate messages. But whatever, this had to get out of my system. Let me explain.
I see these campaign posts everywhere about big women being beautiful. And that’s alright, because feeling good about yourself is really important. I understand that part. But I find something a little hypocritical about it:
Feeling good about yourself, having confidence and self-esteem is one thing. But asking the whole world to think you’re beautiful is something totally different.
If you have the right to have physical preferences, EVERYONE ELSE DOES. Not EVERYBODY is going to like chubby ladies, just like some of you may not like certain types of guys. And I just think that if rejecting a boy because he doesn’t match your beauty standards is okay, then you shouldn’t whine because some people turn you down for the same reason.
As long as you learn to like yourself the way you are, it doesn’t matter what the world thinks.
There, that is all. You may hate my guts all you want now.
Anonymous asked: wait so ALL the wauy up to the soul eater photo was drawn wirh a mOUSE?!?! [[faints]]
When you have no scanner and no tablet, that’s what you do: practice like crazy with a mouse so you can still post drawings. =u=
kirstmas asked: What programs do you use to draw? Do you have a tablet/ what kind?
My drawing program is Paint Tool SAI.
As for how I draw, I used to make EVERYTHING by mouse (from the basic sketch to the final lineart and colors). In fact, all the first drawings that I posted on my blog were made that way, including the really popular picture of Rose! The first drawing I’ve ever made with a tablet was the one with John and Dave in a city. And my tablet brand is Intuos.
But really, any program or tool can be good if you are comfortable with it! :)
70-million asked: oh my gosh, I really really like your art!
Aw man, thanks!
Hopefully I’ll draw some more during summer before school starts! :]
A little REF sheet I made earlier. It’s a representation of how I’d envision the character in an animated series. :]
I’ll draw the three other beta kids sooooon~
So. Guess which series I’ve been watching ~~~ ;D
Have a bunch of Eds making up their new scam. Also, I’m pretty happy with how it turned out, because I didn’t use any reference picture. 8D
Anonymous asked: What site did you use to make that gif?? Thank you! 0u0
I got this question more than once. So for anyone who is wondering which website I used to make that Jake and Erisol GIF, here’s the link:
Type it on google search and you should be able to find it. Have fun!
Yo, have a cross between HS and SP.
(By the way, sorry for the long hiatus. It happens sometimes hahaha)
Just want to clear a few things up about the rant I wrote yesterday, before it causes any further confusion. I gave my thoughts on some of the comments I read on this post:
The rant was not about Hussie himself. It was not about the joke he made either (even though it might have seemed that way).
Basically, what I was ranting about were the fans who seriously took that joke as an excuse to bash another fandom (in this case, Scott Pilgrim). It’s okay if you knew it was a joke and took it that way! I did say I brushed it off too when I saw the picture, and didn’t think too much of it. But it’s NOT okay if you thought you could be a dick to an artist you don’t particularly like just because Hussie did it (although HE did it in a facetious way, and he did it to a guy he knew). Nothing Hussie does justifies anybody being obnoxious to another person, whether he’s your idol or not.
THAT was the point of my rant.
Sorry if the way I phrased it caused any misunderstanding. I hope this time I’m being more clear. Thanks to everyone who took the time to read, and please stay nice to other fellow fandoms! :]
PS: Yes, I am aware that O’Malley and Hussie know each other!
